Acoustic Guitar - Absolute Beginners

Led by Jim Maving

Always wanted to learn guitar but never got around to it? Want to trade your air guitar skills for real guitar skills? It is never too late to learn. Learn guitar right from the very beginning. This is a foundation course for those with little to no experience of playing guitar. You will learn how to hold a guitar and to make the right noises out of it. The aim of these lessons is to get you playing your first song within 4 weeks of lessons, as no-one takes up guitar to strum random chords, it’s all about the songs.

If you are returning to guitar having not played for some time and can barely remember chords this is a great way of getting back into the swing of things.

If you've never played guitar you need to book on the Absolute Beginners course!

These classes are split by skills level;

Beginners A - Recently completed the Absolute Beginners course but still some way to go. Yet to tackle bar chords and complicated rhythms.

Beginners B - Well on the way and able to do bar chords

Dir: David Leitch 2023 | 126 mins

He’s a stuntman - and like everyone in the stunt community, he gets blown up, shot, crashed, thrown through windows and dropped from the highest of heights - all for our entertainment.

And now, fresh off an almost career-ending accident, this working-class hero has to track down a missing movie star, solve a conspiracy and try to win back the love of his life while still doing his day job. What could possibly go right?

Staring Oscar nominee Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt, Winston Duke and Hannah Waddingham.

Beginners/Gentle Yoga

Led by Julie Potter

This class is particularly suited to beginners, those returning to yoga having had a break, those with specific injuries or conditions or even those that consider themselves to be of a ‘certain age’ that might need a less challenging approach. We will cover general breathing practises, the basic and gentler postures, together with general information and possible discussion around movement and the potential difficulties we might come up against.

The aim will be to relax and enjoy.

The yoga I teach is an evolution of nearly 30 years of practice and study, with a broad experience of many styles and teachers. In recent years I have been moving away from ‘external’ evaluation of the postures and moving towards an ‘internal’ sense of the postures, moving away from the more used traditional approach of systemised yoga to a more experiential and ‘felt’ approach, influenced by teachers who have been inspired by the teachings of Vanda Scaravelli.

Please bring a blanket, a yoga / Pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing

Baby Signing

Led by Funky Monkeys

Have you ever wondered what your baby is thinking or feeling? Would it help if they could communicate those thoughts and feelings to you?

Sign & Rhyme teaches parents/carers and their little ones, simple sign language that enables them to communicate before speech takes over. Just like waving and clapping, your baby can learn to tell you when they’re hungry, in pain or just that they’ve seen a dog! This is empowering to them and hugely rewarding for you! In most cases babies who sign learn to talk sooner than their non-signing peers.

Signs are used in class, like actions, to accompany songs and nursery rhymes and with an array of props, puppets, instruments and the use of disco lights, bubbles and parachutes to enhance the sensory experience and make learning more fun.

There's also:
* Free on-site parking
* Café (open all day)
* Baby changing facilities

Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers all welcome with their babies under 18 months

Django at the Farm

With the Already in Berlin Band.

A tribute to the greats of early jazz.

Straight forward hard-swinging string-led early jazz with London's newest classic jazz band. A drummerless line-up with a collective spirit of music-making reminiscent of music anchored in pre-war jazz styles.

Capturing the spirit of classic jazz pioneers from each side of the Atlantic with a programme of greats from the pens of Armstrong, Bechet and Reinhardt… music from an era when jazz was revolutionary, controversial and very 'hot'.

Fronted by Dave Kelbie of Dime Notes, Django a la Creole and Don Vappie’s Jazz Creole, an unstoppable force on rhythm guitar with a sound described as 'the rhythmic rumbling of a folksy freight train'.

On violin is London Django Collective’s curator, composer, educator and fast becoming a force in Jazz violin, Matt Holborn; Legend of London’s Classic jazz and African scenes guitarist John Kelly; and anchored by bassist Lorenzo Morabito.

Intermediate Yoga

Led by Julie Potter

This class is suited to those who have been practising for at least 6. My intention for this class is to move our practise forward, explore different avenues and approaches to the traditional postures. We will be aiming to be going deeper into ‘awareness’ and ‘noticing’.

The yoga I teach is an evolution of over 20 years of practice and study, perhaps moving away from ‘external’ evaluation of the postures and moving towards an ‘internal’ sense of the postures, moving away from the more used traditional approach of systemised yoga to a more experiential approach. Whilst looking at traditional Hatha Yoga postures and pranayamas, I will be encouraging fun and freedom within the traditional structure, whilst taking into our awareness fundamental anatomical and functional aspects required by our bodies for maximum wellbeing benefits.

Please bring a blanket, a yoga / Pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing.

These uplifting classes are led by conductor/composer (and mum) Marta Radwan. There's no auditions, no singing experience is needed and you don't need to have a 'good voice' - just an openness to have a go! You'll be sure to know the songs and there will even be some which include your little one.

There's also:
* Free on-site parking
* Café (open all day)
* Baby changing facilities

Mums, Dads, Grandparents, Carers all welcome with their babies under 18 months

Oasiz

Oasiz are one of the UK's most authentic tribute band.

A point proved in 2023 when a short clip of front man Steve performing as Liam went viral on social media with over half a million views. Many fans were convinced the clip was actually of Liam Gallagher himself which led to the story being covered in the national press as well as a high profile TV appearance later that year.

To celebrate 30 years since Oasis burst onto the scene Oasiz are embarking on a 2024 UK tour and this is your chance to see them in top form.

The setlist will contain all the big hitting career spanning anthems that you would associate with a greatest hits tour. One not to miss!

Ania Magliano
Ania is a comedian based in London. She’s a triple threat (bisexual, Gen Z, bad at cooking). Her sharp, wry writing combined with her warm conversational performance style make her a glittering new talent (the i Paper) of the UK comedy scene.

Her 2023 stand up show, I Can’t Believe You’ve Done This, was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Show, and sold out its entire Fringe run before the festival began. It received multiple 4 and 5 star reviews, with the Scotsman calling it a beautifully structured show and Ania a truly original voice with an impressive set of skills. Her debut hour of comedy, Absolutely No Worries If Not, won Best New Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2022, and sold out entire runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and Soho Theatre. An extra date was put on at London’s Leicester Square Theatre for one night only. The Times described it as the sort of elegantly amusing, surprising and inspiring debut hour that you come to the Fringe to see, whilst the Guardian listed it as one of 10 Fringe Shows Not To Miss, saying it ‘will have you crying with laughter.

Ania has appeared on multiple podcasts, including picking what was described by Ed as one of the worst menus ever on Off Menu with Ed Gamble and James Acaster. You may have heard her on Radio 5 Live with Elis James and John Robins, Brett Goldstein’s Films to be Buried With, Pappy’s Flatshare, Trusty Hogs, Cuddle Club and The Moon Under Water. She has opened for Ed Gamble, Marc Maron and Catherine Cohen. She has also appeared on ITV2’s The Stand Up Sketch Show, Dave’s Get Off My Phone and Dave’s The Comedy Guide to Life.

Simon Evans - Have We Met?

After finally solving the mystery of his existence and true identity in Work of the Devil, Simon finds that he has still not overcome the more daily challenges of remembering what he came upstairs for, who these grown-ups are that live with him (and what they have done with his children?) and how can that footage be from 2009, when he only bought those shoes a few months ago?

In Greek mythology, the Muses were the daughters of Mnemosyne, goddess of memory - though ironically, there is no easy way to remember her name. But Memory was thus clearly regarded by the ancient Greeks as the mother of the arts, wellspring of inspiration, the compost in which imagination takes rooty. Our last defence against tyranny, the consolation of the just and the seat of the soul. Without memory, the illusion of self crumbles. Mine, however, is shot. So where does that leave me?

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

This is a fast-paced adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel. It was first performed in 2006 and has played to packed houses throughout the UK and Ireland. This popular show has returned to Norden Farm six years in a row and is ideal for GCSE students.

'All human beings are commingled out of good and evil….
Edward Hyde alone, in the ranks of mankind, was pure evil'

An experiment to separate virtue from wickedness in his own nature results in the respectable Dr Jekyll releasing the demon within - a malevolent force which will eventually possess his body and soul.

Catching Fire: The Story of Anita Pallenberg (15)

Dir: Alexis Bloom, Svetlana Zill 2023 | 115 mins

This intimate portrait reveals the story of an unapologetic rock ‘n’ roller, actress, muse and mother who rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s.

Drawing on words from her unpublished memoir, narrated by Scarlett Johansson, Anita draws us deep into her world, with the help of a supporting cast that includes her family - Marlon, Angela and their father Keith Richards.

Never-seen-before home movies and family photographs explore life with the Rolling Stones, in a bittersweet tale of both triumph and heartbreak.

From Barbarella to the Swiss Alps, and the Lower East Side of New York, Anita Pallenberg was a woman ahead of her time.

Lost Communications 失絡之聲

Created by electronic musician, An-Ting, and creative technologist, Ian Gallagher, Lost Communications 失絡之聲 is a live audio-visual performance immersing the audience deeply into the light and darkness of nature.

A fundamental property of the natural world is interaction and communication. Every species in an ecosystem contributes to the harmonious symphony that it is a part of. We chose a long time ago to shut ourselves off from this, slowly at first, but with ever increasing speed, we have closed our hearts. We no longer hear the natural music around us. Lost Communications 失絡之聲 is an exploration of art, nature and technology.

Travelling from the UK, through Mongolia, Sichuan and Hong Kong, Ian and An-Ting have recorded the songs of birds as the musical expression of the environments they found themselves in. What might they tell us if we were able to hear?

Lost Communications 失絡之聲 is co-commissioned by Videotage (Hong Kong) and Treasure Hill Artist Village (Taiwan).

The show later transferred to the Soho Theatre and is currently touring across the UK. Garrett is currently working on a new sitcom which previously recorded a pilot for Audible produced by Hat Trick Productions and starring Jack Dee and Meera Syal.
