Matt Richardson - Brash

Being loud, brazen and a little bit lairy was all Matt needed to propel himself onto the comedy circuit aged 18 and be presenting national telly by 22.

But faster than you can say ‘Celebrity Coach Trip’ he suddenly finds himself in his 30s, so what’s next for the lad?

Matt has moved to the countryside, settled down and is trying his hardest to not make rude jokes. It’s not going as well as he’d hoped…

Attempting to navigate a world of mate’s kids, mortgages and village life is proving a challenge for the guy who can't resist causing a scene. How do you age with grace and dignity when it’s at odds with all the personality traits that got you this far?

Pick your authentic Shakespearean genre: Epic History, Romantic Comedy, or Gruesome Tragedy! Pen your wittiest Shakespearean line for our brave actors to pull from their suitably Shakespearean breeches when they need a helping hand – the twist? They’ll have no idea what the line will be before they say it!

Rebeca Ortega Flamenco - Silences

From the tradition and avant-garde of flamenco culture, this dance performance is theatrically woven together, accompanied by traditional flamenco musicians.

Rebeca Ortega Dancer
Ramón Ruiz Guitarist and composer
Carlos Lobo Vocalist and palmas
Sebastian Ruiz Percussionist

Expressed through the depth of the seguiriya, the femininity of the guajira, the intensity of the farruca, and the rhythms of the jaleos and bulerías.

In a world filled with internal dialogues and an excess of noise and information, are we truly in control of our decisions? Often, we are overwhelmed by anxiety, hindering our mental calm. As a result, there arises a need to reflect on the value of silence in our society, in a flamenco piece full of passion, strength, and elegance.

Notable for her strong expression, sense of rhythm, elegance and high level of physical and multidisciplinary abilities. Rebeca has been nominated in the Dancer category at the Seville Stages Awards 2024 for her recent production of flamenco roots and at the same time avant-garde Silences, which filled two nights at the Teatro La Fundición in Seville.

In her short artistic career, she has had the privilege of being nominated by the Embassy of Spain to represent flamenco art with her company in every corner of the world, performing in countries such as China, Bhutan, India, Ethiopia or Trinidad and Tobago. Highlights include Teatros del Canal (Madrid), Watford Palace Theatre (London), National Opera (Armenia), Montreux Dance Festival (Switzerland), National Theatre National Opera (Armenia), National Theatre of Performing Arts (Trinidad and Tobago).

She stood out in important productions such as A mi manera with the flamenco company Teatro Flamenco La Tati and as a solo dancer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She is currently immersed in the production of Kalasetu in London, a show that fuses traditional flamenco art with classical Indian music and dance. Her passion and versatility have established her as a leading figure in the current flamenco scene.
